Initial Acupuncture
$225· 90 minutes · In-person, Williamsburg Brooklyn
During your first session we take our time and are thorough. Dr. Stimpson begins with a comprehensive intake of your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals. Followed by traditional pulse and tongue assessment to understand your body's internal patterns. From this, she builds a personalized treatment plan and begins your first acupuncture session within the same appointment.
New patients often arrive nervous. They usually leave calm, curious, and already planning their next visit.

What to expect: Allow 90 minutes. Wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing. If you haven’t eaten in a few hours make sure to have a light snack. Avoid a heavy meal right before.

Acupuncture Follow Up

Ongoing acupuncture sessions are where the deeper work happens. Each follow-up builds on the last. Dr. Stimpson reassesses, adjusts your treatment protocol, and continues working toward the root cause of your condition. Sessions may also incorporate Cupping, Gua Sha, Ear Seeds, Moxibustion, or Trigger Point Therapy depending on your needs.
Most patients notice meaningful change within 6–10 sessions, with chronic conditions often improving on a weekly or bi-weekly cadence before transitioning to monthly maintenance.

The Lotus Blend- Acupuncture + Sound Blend

The Lotus Blend pairs precision acupuncture with live sound therapy using Tuning Forks on Specific Acupuncture points played in real time, in the room, as you rest with needles in place. The vibrational frequencies of the bowls work in harmony with the acupuncture points to deepen nervous system regulation, release held emotional tension, and create a full-body experience of stillness that most patients describe as unlike anything they've felt before.
Sound therapy has been used in healing traditions for thousands of years. When combined with acupuncture, the two modalities amplify each other: the needles open the body's energetic pathways, and the sound moves through those open channels to clear, settle, and restore.

For patients who prefer to receive care in the comfort and privacy of their own home, Dr. Stimpson offers select in-home visits throughout NYC. All services — including The Lotus Blend — are available as home visits. Scheduling is subject to availability and geographic range.
Cancellation policy: We require 24 hours' notice for all cancellations and reschedules. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of the session fee. We understand emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible.
Deposit policy: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is collected at the end of your session.

Fire Cupping

Fire cupping is performed for 20 to 30 minutes to bring up stagnated Qi and Blood that is stuck beneath to the surface of the skin to dissipate and release.
